A Bite of Sydney Madang

Hi, this is Qing, Today I'm going to share a Korean Restaurant to you.
in Sydney Madang you can have both Korean style hot pot and Korean BBQ, each of them is quite nice, but in  personally, I prefer Korean BBQ.

These small side dishes are free!

one of my favorite dish---raw beef
if you don't mind to have row meat just try it.
the beef is processed with source and then frozen,
it tastes very very delicate!
this meat is used BBQ
 prok belly

beef ribs

every time when I'm in Madang I would like to have these two meat to BBQ

Also if you want to have some hot soup but don't want HOT POT, because that's too much , alternatively you can have Dewn Jang Soup or Kimchi Soup, traditional Korean soup, as yummy as HOT POT but smaller.

The address is 371A Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000
Usually there will be a very long queue at weekend, and averagely 20 mins waiting.
my tips is be there earlier before 6pm or later than 8 pm in order to avoid peak time.

A Bite of Wild Caktus

May is here again! This week's BITE is "Pizza!"

Hands up if you love pizza!

I'm one of pizza lovers~

Again, me and Starry went to Pennant Hills to have lunch.
This pizza shop is called "Wild Caktus"

Its the first and best pizza I've ever had when I first arrive in Sydney.

My home-stay Jenny, she always order takeaway from this shop every Thursday. We will have two large pizza and one big box chips and a 1.5 litre coke for dinner.

Peri Peri Chicken Pizza

My best, favourite one is peri peri chicken pizza, with the delicious ever peri peri sauce on it. Chicken cubs are so tender and its huge serving. It will do best if two persons share a large size pizza, the price is around $16.50, which is reasonable.

Fried chip is soft in inside and a little bit crispy on the outside.

They also have a series of choice for salad, burgers and grilled chicken.

Its location is 84-86 Yarrara Rd Pennant Hills, which is just across the road near Pennant Hills Station. You can easily reach there by train.

Frond door

I had great experience there!

Again I'm telling you : HAVE A BITE, YOU'LL LOVE IT :)

A Bite of ARISUN

Most people have heard about 'You who come from the star', audience not only appealed by the story, but also the food.

For me, I really love the Fired Chicken.
So this week, I eat the fired chicken in ARISUN, the  Chinese name is '阿里山’,which is a really popular Korea restaurant in Sydney, near the Darling Harbor.  Address: 1 Dixon St, Chinatown, Sydney 2000.

Absolutely, I order the Fired Chicken. In ARISUN, there many tastes, like original taste, soul source taste, secret taste and so on.
and we order salad and noodle with soybean paste, which are different from Western and Chinese style, respectively.
the salad has mustard and the noodle is sweet,
they are delicious.

Do you want to eat it, ARISUN is the best Korea restaurant  I had tried in Sydney. But this restaurant does not have barbecue, which let me a little disappointing. A really good meal trip on Wednesday.

It's a Chineses style restaurant services spicy food in Sichuan and Guizhou trandirions, which are two privonces in south-western China. The most fantastic features of the food is pungent and spicy. You can do feel a brand new world when the hot toughing you tongue.
Here is their menu:

At the top there are some Premium Cold Dishes and their House Special Noodles. Then it following by their representative meal, we called Master Spicy Bowl, most particularly the materials of the bowl you can choose anything you like within they offered. As you offer, the chief combine them together and fry with traditional spices, e.g pod pepper, Chinese prickly ash, and dry red pepper.

(Thanks Yuwei again   XD)

A Bite of 9 Noodle House

Hey guys,

It's Danny here. After having so many western style cuisines last week, today we eventually got a chance to have a taste on a special restaurant which is famous for its noodle making----- No.9 Noodle house.

Attractive menu is available outside the door

You could find a great range of Asian style noodle here, comprising most of Chinese noodles from South to North. If you are a Chinese visitors, you will definitely be surprised by such a great variety of noodles. For customers from other cultures, this is also a good place to gain more knowledge about Asian cuisine.

Old Friend's Noodle

Today the dish of noodle I tried is called Old Friend's Noodles. This is a very famous rice noodle in a Chinese southern city --- Nanning. There is a story behind this dish.

Long time ago, when human beings did not find an effective cure to heal the flu, people are really afraid of it. One day, one medical-background person came back hometown Nanning to visit his old friend. Unfortunately, his friend got flu and laid on his bed. Then this traditional medical talent immediately invented a dish of rice noodle by adding exclusive Chinese style spicy pickle and sour. by such a miracle, his friend was healed after having a couple of this rice noodle! People who knew the story kept and spread the recipe in Nanning, and titled it as old friend's noodle to acknowledge the people who invented it.

This is a special Sunday, especially for those who can enjoy their hometown cuisine in another country where thousands of kilometers away.

Chinese Middle-autumn Festival is coming, we hope international students who are busy with their study all the best!
